Is there a difference between Python and R?
If you are considering updating your IT skills by adding a data science language to your knowledge base, which do you choose Python or R?
While both languages are being used extensively in the data science field one is getting more converts than the other.
Why do you ask? It seems that programmers are more likely to go with the language that is easier to use, has better usability features, has better performance and a better ecosystem of support. That technology is Python.
More and more companies, their developers and data scientists, embrace data science from a technical view, not a scientific point of view. Which has seen more than twice the number of developers move to Python than to R.
Don’t be confused, R is not going away by any means as more companies are embracing the enterprise-wide capability of data science and its impact on every line of business and functional department.
